My Testimonial and Experience With United First Financial® and the Money Merge Account®

January 14th, 2009

I became an agent in June of 07. I made my first sale during a promotion and became a Senior Associate by Nov.1st, 07. I have attended many meetings, webinars, regionals, and the International Convention and have stayed plugged in the whole time. I became a client in June of 08 and in 6mo. have already reduced our debt by $19K and canceled nearly $25K in interest. I was having difficulty getting any leads as I am held captive by an audience of 2nd graders daily with no access to phone or internet until after 4pm. This led me to step outside my comfort zone and get involved in Brooke’s marketing class. Esther and Jerry Hicks- The teachings of Abraham (The Law of Attraction) teach that when things begin to stagnate ‘go to the beach.’ Well, Brooke’s class was, and is, my trip to the Beach. Look at me now! I have completed my second training sale, again fortunate to have been able to take advantage of the December Promotion guidelines, and am now a District Manager and U1st Leading Lady for Jan. 09′. I have gained so much through my affiliation with UFirst™ that even if I never made another sale I would count my experiences, and new found, lifelong friendships, as being Pivotal and Momentous in my life. Since becoming a client and having my own facts and figures to share with potential agents and clients, it is becoming easier to get that all important appointment. Those who don’t set an appointment with me continue to get success updates from me and I believe they are beginning to see that this is real as I am living proof! Some of my co-workers have now begun to ask questions and soon I will be teaching my fellow teachers how to equip themselves with the benefits of the Money Merge Account® system. ‘07 was a learn to earn year. ‘08 was a year to plant seeds and begin my garden. ‘09, God willing, will be the year my harvest comes in with gentle cultivation. I know this is what I am supposed to be doing and will continue with a positive attitude, a giving heart, and an appreciation for all that this company has and is yet to put in my path.

Talk About Feelings of Abundance

January 2nd, 2009

Wow, talk about feelings of abundance! My new year has started off with a bang! Abundance abounds and if this isn’t an indicator of the Law of Attraction, I’ll stop blogging tomorrow.

Now that’s a pretty safe statement as I know that the Law of Attraction is definitely working for me.

I have reached my goal of becoming a District Manager with United First Financial and I have been chosen as the Leading Lady for the month of January at U1st Leading Ladies. When I joined U1st Leading Ladies and saw that they were featuring one woman each month, I set that as a private goal for myself, and now that has become a reality.

Here’s to setting more personal goals and attaining them too!

My Most Important 2009 Resolution

December 31st, 2008

I recently entered a contest whereby I had to write a pledge of my love for 2009 in 100 words or less.

I thought I would share my entry, that I consider to be my most important 2009 resolution, with you here on my BLOG site that deals with feelings about abundance.

————————————————————————————–

My Pledge Of Love For 2009

I pledge to love myself. If I do not pledge to love myself first I can not love another. It is therefore my intention to love myself fully.  It is my intention to celebrate my successes. I intend on loving me even through my mistakes, for even mistakes can lead to life lessons which can sustain a state of joy and happiness. It is by doing these things that I will be able to give love more freely, to be a better Mother, Wife, and Friend.

————————————————————————————–

I’m taking the steps necessary to keep my personal life moving downstream. I’m glad I already took the steps necessary to keep my finances flowing by getting the Money Merge Account. 2009 will prove to be an awesome year for me. I hope yours is abundantly full as well. Happy New Year!

Trade For Profit-You Decide

November 30th, 2008

Are you looking for a good place to get a return on your dollar?
Keep reading, but be careful of the side effects.
If you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer(any beer) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling refund, you would have $214.00 to pocket.
In comparison to other investments made over the past year this looks like a winner! Not to mention you can do it yourself, and, it sounds more fun than working with a stock broker.
Cheers!

My Gift Giving Principles

November 29th, 2008

The holidays are upon us and most everyone is out clamouring for the best buy.  I, for one, am not.  It’s not   the economic times that have me saving my pennies though, not this year anyhow.  This year I actually found a way to get ahead of the game so to speak.  In spite of my newly found budgeting principles or because of them, I do not wish to spend money on frivolous gift giving.

For the past several years I have been becoming less needy for material possessions and have taken stock in how I have handled gift giving and receiving in the past.  You see I have a large family and gift giving, even if handmade, is expensive.  Both time and money are valuable commodities that I’m not willing to use any more.  Don’t get me wrong, my family has always shown their appreciation one way or another.  They lovingly refer to my gifts as ‘Kimi’ gifts and some siblings have said that they actually look forward to their ‘Kimi’ gift each year.

By the time you buy the boxes for mailing, gift wrap to make them festive, cards to enclose, and pay the shipping and handling each gift costs approximately $10 and that’s before you put anything in the box!  Final cost is about $25 per person.  Why, that’s pretty inexpensive you might be thinking, but now multiply that by six and it’s about $150 and at least 30 hours of time.  Now add the nieces and nephews and their children and we are up to an additional 15 needed gifts only they don’t come as inexpensively because ‘Auntie Kimi’ gifts need to be memorable and ’store bought’ in the interest of time.  Unfortunately, because of a lack of funds in the past, most holidays came and went without any ‘Auntie Kimi’ gifts.  With two young adult children of my own, two step-children(one married), and a grandson, I was allotting $250 per child for Christmas.  I also have to cover my kids significant other if in a relationship.  As you can see Christmas is big business that runs two to three thousand dollars and I haven’t even decorated the house yet!

I used to request that we draw straws among the siblings, and then, for the children also, so that gift giving would be more fun, less taxing financially.  I thought this would make giving more affordable(money and time wise) for all and would lend itself to the recipients getting more meaningful or useful gifts.  This option has not yet been accepted by my family.  My dearly departed mother would always say, ’surely you can get everyone a little something.’ I don’t think she realized just how taxing the season was made to be for me, but in order to try to live up to her expectations, I began providing a ‘Kimi’ gift.

Fortunately this year, when so many others have none, I have two jobs but that means no time for gift making.  My money has been budgeted for the next three months and no extra funds were dog-eared for Christmas beyond the provision for my own children and husband.

As far as being on the other end, a receiver, I have, and enjoy, and am thankful for, those things I’ve acquired over the years but don’t want anymore ‘things’. I don’t want additional jewelry, smell goods, or nick-knacks.

The only gifts I want are:
1. Quality time, well spent with a loved one or friend, creating memories.
2. Good health for all
3. The opportunity to help others

English biographer Izaak Walton once said:

“Look to your health; and if you have it, praise God, and value it next to a good conscience; for health is the second blessing that we mortals are capable of; a blessing that money cannot buy.”

Love, of course, is the first blessing we mortals are capable of and I have plenty of that in my heart and am willing to give it freely to all.

I hope my brothers, sisters, extended family, and friends will accept my gift of good tidings for these are being delivered with a clear conscience, as for once, I am being true to my own gift giving principles.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

November 25th, 2008

Somebody gave this to me years ago.  I felt it appropriate in light of our nation’s current situation so decided to share it with you  all.  My copy is always on my refrigerator for a daily reminder.

There are two days in every week that we should not worry about, two days that should be kept free from fear and apprehension.

One is yesterday, with its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.  Yesterday has passed, forever beyond our control.

All the money in the world can not bring back yesterday.  We cannot undo a single act we performed.  Nor can we erase a single word we’ve said–yesterday is gone!

The other day we shouldn’t worry about is tomorrow, with its impossible adversaries, its burden, its hopeful promise and poor performance.  Tomorrow is beyond our control.

Tomorrow’s sun will rise either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds–but it will rise.  And until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.

This leaves only one day–today.  Any person can fight the battle of just one day.  It is only when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that we break down.

It is not the experience of today that drives people mad–it is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday, and dread of what tomorrow may bring.

Let us, therefore, live one day at a time.

Moneyscope

November 22nd, 2008

The following is from SpiritNow.com and seems to reflect perfectly the reason I am using the Money Merge Account and why I am so passionate about presenting the opportunity to others.

Sagitarius is the zodiac’s gambler, ruled by lucky Jupiter. You may see large amounts of cash come and go in your lifetime. While you can hit the jackpot, your thirst for adventure tempts you to spend your windfall just as quickly as you earned it. After all, you know you’ll make it back. You’re a naturally optimistic sign, and you love to work (as long as it’s for yourself). For you, life is meant to be lived now!

As you mature, Sagittarius, you may start thinking about the “S-word” (savings). At first reaction, you probably feel suffocated by the idea. To you, saving for a rainy day means…it’s gonna rain. You’d rather not deal with that idea, right, Miss Sunshine?

How do you stash some cash without depriving yourself of that abundant lifestyle you love? For starters, don’t think of saving as having to choose between freedom and security. Plan a fun budget. Create an exciting dream for your savings. Think: rewards, rewards, and more rewards. Make a collage of your dream vacation, and start a fund for that. Match every dollar you put into savings, and before you know it, you’ll have enough for, say, a home AND a trip around the world.

Sagittarius also rules higher education and distance learning. Take an investing course, either at a local college or online. Before you know it, you’ll demystify the stock market or real estate, and you could be hooked on a new entrepreneurial passion.

The number-one tip? Slow down, Sagittarius. Don’t blow your earnings in one place, even if you easily could. Invest equally in freedom and security, and you’ll be able to both live AND retire in style.
